Lexus LC500 with its new look, thanks to Liberty Walk!!

As is known, Lexus is the exclusive luxury brand from Toyota and has the flagship coupé LC500 with great technology and sophisticated design at the start. As a competitor to the BMW 6 Series, Aston Martin DB11 or Jaguar F-Type, the Japanese convinces with a martial grille, a sweeping roof line and a striking silhouette. He also stands on the completely new GA-L ( global architecture for luxury vehicles) Platform that serves as the basis for Lexus models with front engine and rear-wheel drive. And Lexus likes to call the large coupe "flawless". So should you actually make any changes to the vehicle with the finely structured diabolo grille, the narrowed LED headlights, the long bonnet, the dynamically compact passenger compartment and the fat rear? Jupp - absolutely!

The wide body kit from Liberty Walk includes:

  • Front Spoiler
  • Side Skirts
  • Rear Diffuser
  • Rear WIng
  • Front and Rear Fenders

And the ultimate example of what the result can look like is shown by this jet black LC500 from Instagram user jaycraaay ( Jerald Yutadcos ). The vehicle was exhibited at the previous SEMA Auto Show 2019 and was one of the highlights there. The most striking feature is, of course, the Japanese Liberty Walk widebody kit with screwed fender flares, aggressive front splitter, sill swords, a powerful diffuser and a fixed Voltex carbon rear wing. The mentioned diffuser also houses a custom-made sports exhaust system from Armytrix, which delivers the soundscape that matches the optics with its blue-burnt tailpipes. With the new Liberty Walk components, the LC500 completely loses its delicate look and even a central air inlet (plus further openings right / left ) in the bonnet was added. And if you look closely, you will see that the rear-view mirrors also have nothing to do with the series. They come from the accessories and show themselves with the look of the Honda NSX-R.

After installing the body kit, the entire body was made by Impressive Wrap foiled in dark grey and of course, a modified chassis was not missing. An Airride air suspension is installed which can be opened and lowered using an Air-Lift-Performance control. And then there is the beautiful wheelset. Here the choice fell on three-piece forged wheels from Rotiform in the dimensions 20 × 10.5 at the front and 20 × 12 at the rear. They are equipped with Toyo Tires R888r semi-slicks and provide a generous view of the LC500 sports brake system with the yellow-painted callipers. And a lot has happened in the Japanese cabin too. The most striking features are the Kevlar-Carbon Bride Low Max sport seats with Takata sport belts, the Alcantara rear seat panelling and the studio RSR roll cage installed in the rear in white. A beautiful vehicle that shows that the filigree LC500 can mutate into an absolute bad boy in king size if you want. If we receive timely information on further changes, there is, of course, an update for this report. Have fun looking at the pictures and stay update!

Have fun with this incredible video!
