At the beginning of the 21st century, Fiat was passing very rough times, not having enough sales. Someone had the bright idea of rummage through the Mirafiori (Fiat factory, Turin)  drawers and rescued the 500 model. This task was entrusted to the Spaniard Frank Stephenson, also in charge of bringing the Mini cooper to the 21st century. It was a big challenge because they only had ten months to design a car and be able to save the firm from bankruptcy. They had the idea to take a Fiat Panda, keep the base, and change the body and style.

In 2008 Fiat launched the Fiat 500 Abarth, taking the little car from 69 HP to 135 HP; its low weight, performance exhaust, and aggressive look make it one of the most fun cars to drive in the market.

RK Design brings us the 500 with Boys Racer aero kit. The Boys Racer style was very typical in the 80.
