The GRAIL OPF/Kat replacement pipe replaces the standard gasoline particulate filters and secondary catalytic converters of the G8x M models with a continuous dual-flow 3-inch pipe system. The system is designed for off-road use and is not approved for use on public roads.
The flow-optimized design reduces exhaust backpressure, decreases thermal stress in the turbocharger area, and results in a significantly altered sound. It connects to the original catalytic converter flanges, and the lambda sensor positions remain vehicle-specific. On the rear silencer side, the pipe system is compatible with GRAIL systems as well as the stock exhaust system.
